Recent years have witnessed the rapid development of IPM’s education system, with a complete spectrum of talent training programs, including master’s, doctoral and postdoc programs. It has made important contribution to socioeconomic growth by producing qualified interdisciplinary professionals.
The institute has Master’s and doctoral programs in management science and engineering, a postdoc program of management science and engineering, and master’s programs in business management, population-resource-environment economics, and philosophy of science and technology.
At present, IPM has 15 doctoral advisors and 21 master’s degree advisors. Since 1995, a total of 460 graduate students have received their degrees at IPM. By the end of 2012, IPM has 142 full-time graduate students, including 87 doctoral candidates.
In addition, the IPM-based CAS Center for Intellectual Property Rights Research and Training has trained more than 10,000 CAS professionals since 2008.
